NBCA believes that its model could be easily
replicated in other parts of the country. It hopes that with additional staff capacity the
executive director will be free to explore opportunities of launching NBCA in other urban
cities. It anticipates that corporations and foundations will fund this endeavor, and
develop an increasing base of individual funding from alumni for historically black
colleges and universities. NBCA is in the process of seeking independent financial support
in order to more fully explore this opportunity.
